Career Education Institute is operated by Industrial Certified Training, LLC (ictraining.us). In this policy, “Career Education Institute,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Industrial Certified Training, LLC.
This policy applies to every course purchased from Career Education Institute, including our job-title trainings and the job-title courses delivered through HAZWOPER-OSHA.com, a training brand we also operate.
30-day full refund
Not sure whether you or your employees will be able to complete the course you purchased? You can cancel a course within 30 days of purchase and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days after purchase, you receive a credit for the full amount paid, which can be used to enroll in a different course of equal or lesser value. Organizations can also ask to pay by invoice to make it easier to finalize plans later.
You must give notice of cancellation to receive a refund, to have your account credited or to cancel an invoice. Call 1-866-429-6742 between 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, or email info@hazwoper-osha.com.

If you are unsatisfied with the value of the training after completing a course, notify us in writing at info@hazwoper-osha.com with the reason, and we will promptly refund your payment. Most refunds are returned to the original payment method. Certain restrictions may apply, and some purchases may be eligible for a credit instead of a refund.
When a refund or credit is not available
No refund or credit is issued for:
- Course completion: 65% or more of the course material has been completed.
- Certificate issuance: a certificate of completion has already been issued.
- Assessment failure: you did not pass quizzes, final exams or other required in-course assessments within the allowed number of attempts.
- Identity validation: you did not pass required identity validation, such as verification of a state or government ID, security questions or other methods described in the course guidelines.
- Time limit: the refund was requested more than 30 days after the purchase date.
- Expedited services: expedited processing or mailing of certificates, once that service has been provided as promised.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear on your account. Refunds are issued only to the payment method used for the original purchase.
Group and employer purchases
The same terms apply to each seat purchased. Seats that have not been assigned to a learner can be cancelled within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
Purchases from outside the United States
Our services are intended for customers in the United States, and this guarantee does not apply to international or overseas registrations. Payment for international registrations must be made in U.S. dollars before the course starts, and those course fees are non-refundable. Learner substitutions can be made at any time before the course starts.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
