General and behavioral questions
6. Why do you want to be an obstetrician-gynecologist?
Connect a real motivation to the work itself. Mention what drew you to obstetrician-gynecologists’ day-to-day tasks (for example, provide prenatal care) and show you understand the challenges as well as the rewards.
7. Tell me about yourself.
Give a 60–90 second summary: your background, the training or experience that prepared you for this role, and why this employer. Keep it relevant to obstetrician-gynecologist work.
8. Describe a time you made a mistake. What did you do?
Pick a real, low-stakes example. Explain how you owned it, fixed it and changed your process. Employers want honesty and learning, not perfection.
