What this career really involves

Surgical technologists prepare operating rooms, set up sterile instruments and equipment, pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures, and maintain the sterile field to protect patients from infection.

  • Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment and supplies
